About

Social Skills develops social tools for public relations firms. We build tools using the WordPress platform to create “Press Hits,” blogs that chronicle a client’s mentions in the blogosphere and the media. Press Hits blogs serve as a content management system that provides customers with a web oriented tool that gives the client a polished blog of media mentions that they can easily share and use as a means to show their presence in the market.

To create these blogs a public relations firm needs a means to track a client’s presence in the blogosphere. Social Skills develops brand tracking tools that provide immediate notification of a client’s mention. Google Alerts can do part of the job but what about the mentions in comments or across the multitude of microblogging platforms?

The tools we create last. They are living stories. We will teach you how to use the tools so you may manage them yourselves or we will keep them updated for you.
